Starting tutoring is a big step, and we’re here to make it smooth, positive, and productive. In the first session, your child’s tutor will begin with a warm introduction to build rapport and help them feel comfortable.
We’ll then complete a Baseline Assessment in Phonics, Reading, Writing, and Maths, this is a way for the tutor to understand your child’s current level. This helps us create a personalised plan that suits their needs and learning style.
The session may include fun, low-pressure activities and ends with detailed feedback for parents - covering strengths, areas to focus on, and what the next steps will look like.
After each session, you’ll receive regular feedback, optional homework, and a monthly progress report so you’re always in the loop.
